New Weezer Video

so i was definitely obsessed with the blue album back in junior high, but for the most part have been disappointed with anything they have done since then. i have basically just enjoyed their catchy radio singles until they annoy the crud out of me a couple of weeks later, which i am sure is what will soon happen to this new song off of their third self-titled and color coated album (the red album). but the reason i am choosing to write about this song isn’t because i think weezer has totally redeemed themselves and come out with a praiseworthy album, but rather i want to give them props for making an awesome video that actually has a decent message.

“i do the things that i wanna do, i ain’t got a thing to prove to you”

going along with this line out of the chorus, they decided to ask a handful of people who have become semi-famous from youtube. and the majority of them, not because they did anything awesome, or spectacular. most of them just made a fool of themselves and we have enjoyed laughing at them the past several years. so if you are a big youtube junkie, or if you are curious to hear the new weezer single, check out this new video.
