I posted a single a few weeks back from a new indie-electronica girl-rock group called HAIM. They have sinced shared another great single, “The Wire” that is worth checking out on Spotify.  But today I wanna share an excellent cover of Sheryl Crow’s 1994 hit single, “Strong Enough.”  These girls can basically do no wrong.

Pickwick‘s killer cover of Richard Swift’s “Lady Luck” is the cover song of the week.  Swift released several solo records throughout the 2000’s, including 2008’s Ground Trouble Jaw EP, where “Lady Luck” was first featured. Swift is currently a member of indie-rock band The Shins.
