The National Write a New Song for ‘Win Win’

Actor/Director Thomas McCarthy (The Visitor) has a new film coming out this weekend starring Paul Giamatti and Amy Ryan ( from The Wire & The Office) about a disheartened attorney who is moonlighting as a high school wrestling coach.  It looks like it will be a pretty interesting film, but that isn’t why I am interested in it today.  Like most Sundance films, the soundtrack seems to be filled with great indie music including a new song from The National written just for the movie.   The new song is everything we have come to expect from them.  “Think You Can Wait” would easily fit right in with everything on High Violet.  It’s a hauntingly beautiful sound with a fantastic arrangement that has the gorgeous Sharon Van Etten on background vocals.
