A.A. Bondy Announces New Album

Folk singer/songwriter A.A. Bondy has just recently announced the release of his sophomore effort, to be titled When the Devil’s Loose.  The album is set to be released on the first of September on Fat Possum Records.  Unfortunately, I have nothing to base my opinion on other than the new single that was just released and his debut record, American Hearts.  Fortunately I love both of those.  American Hearts was one one of my favorite albums of 2007 and the title track off of When the Devil’s Loose finds Bondy picking up where he left.  He is still filling his songs with biblical imagery and soothing blues-folk.  Yes it is very Dylan-esque. So listen to this great tune and look forward to yet another great release in 2009.
