Would you spend a dollar on this?
Artists are getting crazy. First Radiohead decides to let customers name their price. Then Girl Talk follows suit. And now Fanfarlo is practically giving their album “Reservoir” away until July 4 for the ridiculously low price of $1. There are very few albums that I would turn down for $1. Actually, I take that back. There are a lot of albums I wouldn’t take even if you paid me:
Anything by Nickelback
Anything by Puddle of Mudd (do they even exist anymore?)
Anything by Finger Eleven
Anything by Dave Matthews Band (Gasp!)
Anything by Good Charlotte
Anything by Simple Plan
Anyway, enough about albums/bands I loathe. Fanfarlo’s latest is worth at least 2 dollars:

Nathan! It’s Leslie Poe! I can’t believe this is my first visit to your website…I love it! And I love it even more for confirming what I have been shunned for since high school: I don’t like Dave Matthews Band! People have always made me feel crazy for that, but now my resident music expert is telling me I was right all along. Made my day. Oh, and I can’t stand Nickelback either. Maybe I’m a musical genius after all?
Hey Leslie!
Glad you finally found the site! Unfortunately, however, Nathan didn’t write this post, and even more unfortunate than that, he still actually likes DMB.
And yes, thanks to your abhorrence of them and Nickelback I will personally qualify you as a musical genius.
Oh, and thank you for inadvertently referring to me (thinking I was Nathan) as “my resident music expert”!
