RW: This Boy’s in Love (Lifelike Remix)
So for my first remix of the new year i wanted to pick something that got me back into the groove of things. One of my favorite victims of remixes is The Presets. Their 2008 release, Apocalypso provided some great new original content to be remixed.
Their songs just have a certain….. je ne se qoui. A sound that is uniquely rock, and uniquely electronic. The lyrics always seem to evoke a strong emotion. No half-hearted emotions here, it’s 100% driven on love.
Today’s song is no exception! This Boy’s in Love is perhaps my favorite of the album. And when I found this remix this week, you can only image my excitement.
The song is energetic, full of electronic beats sure to make your heart melt. And the mastering of it is beautiful as you can hear sounds dancing back and forth between your ears when using headphones.
This song is also a perfect fit for any workout mixes you might need to spruce up for any new years resolution. Coming in a 125 bpm, it’s a great track to hit the pavement (or treadmill).
Well I hope that you get some real play out of this one, as I’m sure to.
